Oregano is a widely used perrenial herb that grows well in our area. It has tiny purple flowers and may bloom all summer. Plant oregano in full or dappled sun  and well-drained (but not dry) soil. Oregano's aromatic leaves can be snipped & used as needed. Leaves can also be dried.
