* Developed by UF, Tropic VFN tomatoes are sweet-flavored fruits averaging 8-9 oz and are thick-walled.
* As the fruit ripens, it turns a deep red with green shoulders.
* Recommended for hot, humid, disease-prone areas, especially where blight is a problem. (AKA - all of Florida!)
* What’s the meaning of VFN?? VFN means the tomato variety is resistant to Verticillium & Fusarium wilt and is resistance to Nematodes!
* Plants can get 5ft tall and benefit from staking or trellising. Indeterminate (tomatoes ripen over a long period of time).
* As with all tomatoes in Florida - they will appreciate some afternoon shade.
