Plumbago

Plumbago is prized for the profusion of blue phlox-like flowers it produces for extended periods of time. It has few pests and diseases are rare. It loves full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Plumbago is deer resistance and, once established, these easy-growing shrubs also tolerate drought. In our area Plumbago will die back in the winter frost and come back beautifully in the spring.
